Derbyshire County Council (DCC) and the Derby and Derbyshire Road Safety Partnership (DDRSP) are seeking a Manager to lead in its drive to reduce road casualties.

The postholder will manage DCC’s Road Safety and Data Team delivering road safety education and behaviour change and the provision of collision data analysis to both DCC and partners.

The postholder will also help to shape and develop the Partnership and foster positive relations with partner organisations including the Police, Highway Authorities, Health and Fire and Rescue Service.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and management skills, experience of working in a multi – disciplinary environment and the ability and determination to ensure the success in its challenging role. Candidates should have a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline or extensive relevant experience at a senior level.
