Subsidised conference will focus on behaviour change
A conference being organised by Brainbox Research will focus on how novel approaches and research into behaviour change can be applied to road safety.
The conference, Innovations in Road User Behaviour Change, is being held on 27-28 March in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
Brainbox Research says the conference programme will include a mix of presentations and workshops around the latest thinking in behavioural change theory, techniques and interventions. The sessions will be centred around the following four themes: managing risk and changing behavior; challenging inequalities; power of stakeholders; and reasoning and rivalries.
The conference is intended for road safety professionals and policy makers, decision-makers in local authorities, behaviour change practitioners and researchers and evaluators.
The delegate rate for the two-day conference is £75 which includes delegate pack, presentation sessions and workshops and a conference dinner. Accommodation is also available at the venue from £65.
Brainbox Research says the conference is non-profit making and that it is subsidising the cost of attending to make it affordable for delegates from a range of sectors.
