Keltic Clothing extends newsfeed sponsorship

Tuesday 18th March 2014

Keltic Clothing, a leading supplier of cycle instructor uniforms, road safety education resources and SCP clothing and equipment, has extended its sponsorship of this newsfeed into a third consecutive year.

Keltic Clothing has sponsored Road Safety News since April 2012 and the arrangement now runs through until March 2015.

Keltic is one of the UK’s largest suppliers of uniforms and remains 100% family owned and run. From its base in the West Midlands it covers the whole of the UK and supplies more than 200 local authorities.

Since first working with Road Safety GB, Keltic has significantly expanded its road safety offering.

The road safety education department offers a range of products to help children to learn about the dangers of roads. One example, Street Feet, encourages children to learn about road safety through role-play.

As well as supplying School Crossing Patrol uniforms, Keltic has recently launched its own cycle range, designed specifically with cycling instructors in mind. The range includes a new winter cycle jacket which is lightweight, breathable and waterproof and conforms to EN471 Class 3. It is designed to protect the wearer not only from the elements but also from hazards on the road.

James Gibson, head of communications for Road Safety GB, said: “Road Safety GB is delighted that Keltic has agreed to extend its sponsorship of the newsfeed.

“This continued financial support is really appreciated and helps ensure that the news service remains free to all readers.

“We are convinced that being associated with the newsfeed has helped maintain Keltic’s profile among road safety professionals.”

Louise Bennett of Keltic Clothing added: “We’re delighted to be able to continue our strong working relationship with Road Safety GB, a partnership that has had great benefits for both parties and which we hope will continue for many years to come.”
