AA DriveTech to continue National Conference sponsorship
AA DriveTech has agreed to extend its sponsorship of the National Road Safety Conference into a fourth consecutive year.
The 2015 National Road Safety Conference is being hosted by Road Safety GB East Midlands Region at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham on 18-19 November. Around 180 people have already registered to attend the event and 12 organisations have signed up for the accompanying exhibition.
Originally established in 1990, AA DriveTech has developed into the UK’s largest provider of fleet risk management and driver education services, through its three key divisions: DriverAware, FleetSafe and Commercial and Passenger Goods.
AA DriveTech became part of the AA Group in July 2009 and is now headquartered at Basingstoke in Hampshire. Since becoming part of the AA, the company has acquired a number of complementary businesses including Intelligent Data Systems, Nationwide 4x4, Peak Performance and VVCR in Holland.
James Gibson, Road Safety GB director of communications, said: “AA DriveTech has made an important contribution to the success of our National Conference over the past three years – not only by sponsoring the event, but by providing interesting contributions to the agenda.
“We are naturally delighted that they are to continue their support for the conference into a fourth successive year, and look forward to further developing what has become a mutually beneficial relationship.”
David Richards, head of marketing at AA DriveTech, added: “We are delighted to be involved in the prestigious National Road Safety Conference yet again; it’s the quality of the debate and discussions we value as well as hearing new insights from the leaders in road safety in this country.
"The professionals attending are making a positive difference to road safety which complements AA DriveTech’s founding vision of working together to eliminate road death and serious injuries.”
