Facelift for Good Egg car seat website

The Good Egg Safety child car seat website has been given a comprehensive facelift in an effort to improve usability for parents and road safety professionals.

The website has been optimised for mobile devices and restructured in a bid to make it easier for parents to navigate the significant amount of free advice and information that Good Egg provides on the site.

The ‘car seat selector’ tool, which is popular with parents, has been redesigned to improve ease of use and functionality on hand held devices, and is accompanied by pages clearly explaining each car seat group stage.

An interactive events map has been introduced to give parents an at-a-glance overview of all free car seat checking events that are being held across the UK.

A separate map shows all the car seat retailers that have passed the Good Egg Safety mystery shop.

A knowledge base of frequently asked questions has been developed primarily to help parents ensure their children are sitting safely, but the FAQs can also be used as an educational resource.

Any questions not answered in the FAQ section can subsequently be put to Good Egg’s free ‘Ask the Expert’ service.

Alex Cannon, digital marketing manager for Good Egg Safety, said: “We will be releasing more exciting features on the site in the coming weeks.

“We also have a wide range of child car seat safety resources and services for road safety professionals – anyone wanting more details is very welcome to contact me by email or on 0131 718 0787.”
