Foil blankets make sense

Safety Reflectives in Derbyshire, a distributor of emergency foil blankets, is happy to send samples to LARSOA members.

Nigel May Brown of Safety Reflectives says: “The sight of people at the side of a motorway wrapped in silver foil blankets is becoming familiar as many emergency services give these away to victims of accidents and breakdowns. The blankets offer protection against the onset of hypothermia from cold or shock.

“The recent severe weather conditions have brought many instances of drivers being stuck in their cars overnight in freezing conditions. A couple of foil blankets would certainly have made these nights more comfortable. The blankets are extremely good value and can be bought for as little as 50p.”
