Motorwise event ‘ideal’ for young people

Bracknell’s road safety team has once again organised the ‘Motorwise’ pre-driver event for young people.

35 people aged 16-17 years attended the daylong series of workshops which included ‘Honest Harry’, ‘drink drugs and driving’, ‘scene of a crash’ and ‘attitudes and behaviour’.

The most popular workshop gave attendees the opportunity to experience first hand what it’s like to drive – in safe controlled surroundings and accompanied by a professional driving instructor.

Tina Housego, RSO, said: “Being able to get young people for a day of activities before they become drivers is ideal.”
