The 2019 National Road Safety Conference is set for a record-breaking exhibition – with 19 organisations already booked to attend.
The 2019 conference will follow a similar format to previous years, with both a main and fringe programme running concurrently. There are also a number of new initiatives – including an informal chat show style session on the closing afternoon.
The exhibition runs alongside the conference – with the facilities at Telford affording more space for the exhibition than any of the previous venues.
To date, 19 organisations have confirmed their attendance at the exhibition – including four newcomers:
- Cubic – provider of road safety technologies, including safety cameras and associated back office solutions – and more than a third of London’s traffic lights
- Marston Holdings – provider of transportation and enforcement services
- Place Surveys – developers of Advanced Collision Plot, which is designed to aid those who wish to understand and design traffic schemes
- Traffic Technology – specialists in traffic solutions, including road safety education equipment designed for driver awareness and community engagement
The returning exhibitors are: AG Products, Agilysis, B3 Creative, Brightkidz, ClassVR, FirstCar, Insure The Box, Jenoptik, Keltic Clothing, Red Zulu, Room 9 Media, Siemens, Solon Security, The Stationery Office (TSO) and Westcotec.
For the first time in 2019, the exhibition will also play host to a drinks reception at the end of the first day of the conference.
Nick Rawlings, member of the National Conference organising committee, said: “The exhibition is an important element of National Conference – and has been fully subscribed for the last eight years.
“The exhibition provides a unique opportunity for any organisation seeking to engage with local authority road safety officers, and fire and rescue and police officers involved in road safety delivery – and the facilities at the Telford International Centre allow us to accommodate more exhibitors than ever before.”
Prices for the exhibition begin at £695 – with full residential packages (including stand, attendance at conference sessions, overnight accommodation at venue, refreshments and conference dinner) starting from £1,300.
Delegate registration is also open and the full residential fee is £355 for Road Safety GB/Academy members, and £445 for other attendees (all prices plus VAT).
