The target for Child Safety Week 2009 is pre-school age children, and THINK! has put together a road safety advice sheet for parents of this age group, which can be used by participating RSOs.
The theme of Child Safety Week 2009, organised by the Child Accident Prevention Trust, is ‘Safer Together’. It’s about engaging local communities in accident prevention by encouraging local links and partnership working to effectively address child accident prevention.
The free resources and publicity around Child Safety Week (22-28 June 2009) offer local agencies a simple but effective basis for making links and a positive contribution to child accident prevention.
The Child Accident Prevention Trust has produced a free resource pack for those working with children, young people or families. To register for a copy go to: www.childsafetyweek.org.uk.
Bulk copies are available free of charge (except for P&P) to road safety professionals – click here to request a quantity.
