TTC launches recruitment drive for trainers

The TTC Group says it is seeking to recruit new trainers across the country following expansion into new markets and the award of two new contracts in Yorkshire and Wales.

TTC currently works with more than 300 trainers to deliver classroom and in car driver training courses for police and local authorities in 14 UK regions.

TTC is one of the largest providers of courses for the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS), an alternative to prosecution for some road traffic offences, and also delivers drink drive rehabilitation courses.

The group also educates professional LGV drivers and the corporate sector, and helps local authority road safety teams to deliver education courses and cycle and pedestrian training for adults and children.

Alan Prosser, TTC Group director, said: “We are looking for well motivated professional trainers who are either qualified approved driver trainers or experts in their own field of classroom based training with nationally recognised qualifications.

“That may mean teachers, former police officers, or people who work in the probation or health service.

“Previous experience is not required as full training will be provided. The ideal candidates will be forward thinking and interested in making a positive contribution towards creating safer roads."

Interested parties should sending an email with their contact details and qualifications/experience to nicola.rees@ttc-uk.com.
