Presentation: Tyre Safety Month
Stuart Jackson has been chairman of TyreSafe since 2009 and is a recognisable and renowned personality in the UK tyre industry. As the spokesperson for TyreSafe, Stuart has appeared on national television and at major events, communicating a range of tyre safety issues.
Since TyreSafe was founded in 2006 the not-for-profit organisation’s activities and campaigns have made a significant contribution to improving road safety by helping to reduce tyre-related casualties on the UK's roads by 36%. In recognition of its achievements TyreSafe was awarded a Prince Michael International Road Safety Award in 2009.
Tyre Safety Month (October) is an annual tyre safety awareness campaign organized by TyreSafe. Despite the wider backdrop of shrinking road safety resources, Tyre Safety Month has grown year on year, with record numbers of road safety professionals taking part, helping to educate drivers about the importance of correct tyre care and maintenance.
Stuart Jackson will outline how it has created a powerful platform that enables road safety professionals to adopt and adapt its core messages, work with its industry members and deliver a positive effect at local level.
