In addition to the Academy and Road Safety GB, a number of other organisations provide road safety related training courses. Contact details for some of these can be found below.


AIRSO (Association of Industrial Road Safety Officers) 
AIRSO offers a programme of road safety workshops and seminars across the UK throughout the year.


Aston University CPD Centre 
Aston University has developed a series of Post Experience Certificates intended for those working in traffic engineering or transport planning.


Brake offers road safety training courses for fleet, road safety professionals and educators.


Child Seat Safety
Child Seat Safety provides training and advice to anyone responsible for the fitting of child restraints. Child Seat Safety provide the only nationally accredited training course which has been licenced by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).


Cranfield University
Cranfield University offers short courses covering the following topics: changing driver behaviour; driver psychology and behaviour; driver risk index & coaching; psychology of drink driving; and why drivers crash.


e-Driving Solutions 
e-Driving Solutions offers a wider range of road safety services based on a research led approach to education.  These services include: training packages for road safety professionals including driving instructors, e-learning development and evaluation services.



London College of Communication (LCC)
LCC is a world leader in media and design courses. LCC's Short Courses are delivered in extensive studio and workshop facilities containing the full range of industry standard equipment.


Media Trust
Media Trust's regular events are designed to improve marketing, media and digital communications skills. Media Trust also designs bespoke media and communications training packages to cater for exact needs.


Newcastle University: School of Civil Engineering and Goesciences
The university offers three courses is to provide participants with a full appreciation of the road safety situation in UK and globally to set the context the application of appropriate casualty prevention and reduction techniques, including data interpretation from accident and record analysis. The courses also deliver insights into the developments and changes in the application of casualty reduction measures and the road safety audit actions.


Queen Elizabeth Foundation (QEF) 
QEF provides a range of specialised training courses on disability awareness for health care professionals, driving instructors, road safety professionals and others.


Road Safety Analysis (RSA)
RSA has a wide range of experience in delivering training across numerous sectors, but particularly within the road safety field. Current RSA training covers analytical techniques, social marketing and working with the media.


TMS offers an extensive range of training courses in the field of road safety and traffic management. All courses offer a ‘hands on’ approach to training and are recognised for CPD by the IHE and CIHT.


TTC Road Safety Services (TTC RSS)
TTC RSS is uniquely positioned to provide local authorities, educational establishments, businesses and individuals with tailored road safety services, from single schemes to fully managed programmes, including minibus permit schemes. Using a state of the art secure web-based information management system called Navicom, TTC RSS is able to deliver services efficiently, dramatically reducing the administrative tasks that take valuable staff members away from delivering front line services. Navicom is also available as a licenced product enabling road safety teams to efficiently manage their own schemes.
