35 Hours Per Week (Fixed Term – One Year)

Salary: £28,000 per annum

This exciting new role within the Safety Team will provide the opportunity to get involved in developing equine road safety into primary schools and the delivery of our training programme to volunteers and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a passion for improving equine and rider safety across the UK. Part of the role is developing the current schools project, ‘Henry the Horse’. Volunteer support is an essential part of this role together with an adpatable approach to problem solving.

Location: Our office is based near Stoneleigh in Warwickshire, this position is remote working, however you will be expected to travel to the office occasionally. This role will require you to travel around the UK to support the Safety Team with time away from home.

Hours: Our usual full-time hours are 35 hours a week – with an early finish on a Friday! We offer other flexible work options, such as compressed hours, which we’re happy to discuss.

What you’ll be doing:

– Developing and delivering equine safety specific training to volunteers and stakeholders.
– Community engagement
– Project management
– Cross departmental collaboration
– Liaison with national equestrian safety stakeholders.

What you won’t be doing:

– Completing risk and DSE assessments
– Working in a traditional H&S or office-based role
– Struggling to find things to do,
– Do the same thing every day.
