More than 100 delegates have already registered for the 2009 Road Safety GB conference to be held in Cambridge, 12-13 November.

The conference, which is sponsored by the Highways Agency, includes presentations by Chris Watts, author of the Safer Way consultation paper, Fiona Seymour, head of marketing at DfT, and Rob Gifford, executive director at PACTS.

It also includes sessions focusing on ‘influencing driver behaviour’ and ‘vulnerable road users’.

The tabletop exhibition that will run alongside the conference has already sold out, with 17 confirmed exhibitors.

The residential delegate rate has been set at the all-inclusive price of just £235 in order to make the event affordable for road safety professionals in these financially-constrained times.
