Following the success of the inaugural event in July, the date has been confirmed for the second forum for road safety professionals involved in delivering performances for young road users.

The second meeting of the Road Safety Performance Forum (formally Safe Drive Stay Alive Forum) will take place on Thursday 14 January and will once again be hosted by Hertfordshire County Council.

The forum is for road safety professionals and other stakeholders involved in delivering road safety performances for young road users, including Safe Drive Stay Alive, Learn 2 Live and Licence to Kill.

The forum has been set up to provide an opportunity for road safety professionals to share knowledge, experiences, evaluation and best practice around these programmes.

The forum will build on the first meeting and will include further discussion around possible group funding opportunities, the effective use of social media, the post-performance follow up process and the use of behaviour change techniques.

Deana Frost from Hertfordshire County Council will co-chair the meeting with FirstCar, who will providing organisational support and lunch and other refreshments on the day.

The forum will be held at County Hall, Hertford and will run from 9am to 4pm. While many of the attendees from the first meeting have booked for the second forum, there are still a few spaces available for other attendees.
