Early bird places sold out!

All of the early bird places for the National Road Safety Conference 2013 have been snapped-up, but there are still plenty of places available as either residential or day delegates.

The first 50 early bird places went within 48 hours and a further 25 went on sale at the start of the week. However, these have now all been sold and an impressive 114 attendees are already registered for the event.

The 2013 conference will take place at The Majestic Hotel in Harrogate, 13-14 November, and is being hosted by the Yorkshire and Humberside Region.

The full residential delegate rates are £295 + VAT for Road Safety GB members and £395 + VAT for other attendees. This package includes all conference sessions, overnight accommodation, the conference dinner, and all other refreshments across the two-day event.

Sally Bartrum, conference administrator, said: "We recognise that for some it may prove difficult to obtain authorisation to attend without themes and an agenda in place.

"However, what we can say at this early stage is that the conference will take a similar format to previous years and will cover a wide range of road safety themes and topics, rather than focusing on a single or a small number of issues."

Prices to exhibit alongside the conference have also been frozen at the 2012 level, and bookings are now being taken.

Organisations interested in possibly sponsoring the event are invited to contact Nick Rawlings on 01379 650112. Monies raised through sponsorship are used to offset the costs of staging the conference, and to help keep delegate rates at an affordable level.
