First Road Safety GB regional site goes live

12.00 | 13 July 2012 |

The North East Region is the first Road Safety GB region to launch its own micro website, hosted on and accessed via the main Road Safety GB website.

All Road Safety GB regional groups are now able to set up their own micro site, and the Yorkshire & Humber Region has already commenced work on its site.

The Road Safety GB North East site introduces the services offered by road safety teams in that region. The site has its own newsfeed dedicated to the region, as well as information on driver and motorcycle training, education and training in schools, the School Crossing Patrol Service, work related road safety and publicity campaigns.

Other features include a regional calendar of road safety events and a secure area where members can exchange and share documents and information.

The site will be maintained and updated by regional administrators.

Any other Road Safety GB region interested in finding out more about creating their own site should contact Nick Rawlings in the first instance on 01379 65011.
