Free places for RSOs at Brake’s Speed Congress

11.05 | 23 February 2012 |

Brake, the road safety charity, is offering 50 free places for road safety officers to attend its ‘Speed Congress 2012’ on 17 May in London.

Brake says the event will bring together academics and practitioners from around the globe to discuss developments in reducing traffic speeds to save lives and enable walking and cycling on urban and rural road networks.

The congress will present research, evaluation and policy thinking with regard to reducing speed; demonstrate innovation and new directions in speed enforcement, education, engineering and technology; and provide a forum for road safety professions to network on this issue.

The 50 free places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, and can be requested by email to: forum@brake.org.uk, quoting ‘Royal Holloway’.
