Moths go for a spin

Web I never… this motor is covered in silk spun by an army of Caterpillers.

Millions crawled over the red car after stripping all the leaves from nearby trees and then made cocoons to protect them from predators. The silvery covering could remain for two weeks until the caterpillars turn into spindle ermine moths.

An onlooker in Spuikade, Holland, said: "It looked like a scene from a horror movie."
