Publisher offers discount for young driver’s Guide

The publishers of the 2013 FirstCar Young Driver’s Guide are offering mid-year discount for road safety teams interested in a ‘bulk purchase’ of the annual publication.

The new Guide, which was launched in March 2013, includes sections on news, learning, buying, owning, driving and riding, as well as celebrity interviews. At 148 pages, it is significantly more substantial than its predecessor, FirstCar Magazine.

Talking about the new Guide, James Evans, Firstcar publisher, said: “Consultations with readers and road safety professionals confirmed that a more comprehensive ‘annual’ style publication would be a good evolution of the biannual magazine.

“The new A5 format looks great and easily fits into a car glovebox, so it can be quickly referred to in the event of a crash, breakdown, flat tyre etc. It also takes up less storage space and is cheaper to post.

“It’s five months until the 2014 edition is published and we’ve still got a few copies of the 2013 Guide in stock. That’s why we thought we’d offer a discount for any road safety team wanting to buy a bulk quantity to use as a giveaway to support a young driver event or initiative.”
