The 2020 edition of Young Driver Focus has been postponed – and will now take place on 10 September.
The conference, held at the RAC Club in Central London, was due to be staged on 19 May – but has been pushed back due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Tickets will still be valid for the new date – but those who are unable to attend should email Richard Borges at FirstCar.
James Evans, founder and managing director of FirstCar, said: “It is with great regret that we’re announcing the postponement of Young Driver Focus 2020 – however, I’m sure this won’t come as a surprise.
“Whilst we are all doing our best to overcome the challenges of this current situation, I should think everyone is also looking forward to getting back to a sense of normality when the risks to our health and the health of our loved ones has significantly subsided.
“With that in mind, I am pleased that we are able to run the event on Thursday 10 September 2020 and we look forward to seeing you all then.”
Jointly organised by FirstCar, Road Safety GB and the RAC Foundation, Young Driver Focus is firmly established on the road safety calendar.
The event is targeted at road safety professionals seeking to learn more about young drivers; how they think and behave, and how to address the challenge of reducing casualties caused by this most vulnerable road user group.
