Newsfeed sets new records

The Road Safety GB newsfeed received a record number of visits last month, and the number of subscribers to the newsfeed alert is also at an all-time high.

The newsfeed attracted 20,440 visits in October 2013, surpassing the previous record of 20,402 in May this year. Compared with 12 months ago (October 2012) the number of visits has increased by more than 15%.

At 12,561, the number of unique visitors was just shy of the record (12,694) which was achieved in May 2013.

The number of subscribers who receive the newsfeed email alert currently stands at 1,675.

With 769 ‘views’, the most read news story last month was about a new campaign to combat a rise in alcohol-related adult pedestrian casualties in the north east of England.
