‘No Excuses’ for road casualties

19.12 | 11 October 2009 |

The Suffolk Roadsafe partnership has launched a new publicity campaign, ‘No Excuses’, which targets the four key causes of casualties on the county’s roads.

The campaign uses a graphic that incorporates the images of four causes of road casualties within the words, ‘No Excuses’.

The campaign targets drink/drug-driving, seatbelt wearing and speed, which made up 41% of  Suffolk’s killed or seriously injured casualties during 2008. Illegal mobile phone use has also contributed to collisions.

The poster and bus back campaign will run from October to December 2009.
