Record number set to attend Road Safety GB conference

In total, more than 190 people have already registered to attend the 2010 Road Safety GB conference and exhibition, which takes place 16-17 November.

The annual conference is being hosted this year by Road Safety GB Mercia region and is being held at Chesford Grange, nr Kenilworth in Warwickshire. The event is being sponsored by RSS in association with Colas and Enterprise.

The attendees total includes residential delegates, day delegates, speakers and exhibitors.

Tim Philpot, Road Safety GB vice chair and chair of the conference committee, said: "Given the current financial circumstances we are thrilled with the number of people who will be attending the event.

"We have made it a priority to enable as many road safety professionals as possible to attend, and look forward to an event every bit as successful as last year’s.

"With the agenda now finalised and other arrangements in place, everything is set for a productive and informative two days."

There are still residential and day delegate places available but anyone thinking of attending is advised to book as soon as possible.
