Ricky Gervais, Richard Hammond, James May and Noreen Khan all feature in the latest edition of ‘Rev’ – the magazine aimed at young drivers – which is being published in an interactive online format.

John Billington of Room 9 Media, publishers of Rev, said: “Publishing the magazine online means we can adapt and personalise it for road safety teams, so it can be used to work alongside and enhance new and ongoing initiatives. YouTube videos, links and existing articles can also be incorporated into the magazine.

“We have intentionally sought out people with a high profile and, in the case of Richard Hammond and James May, put them on the spot to see what they really think about young drivers.

“This serves to highlight the difference between the harsh reality of the roads compared to the controlled conditions portrayed in their on-screen activities. Their answers are certainly well worth a read.”

A feature about city driving includes interviews with top comedian Ricky Gervais and Asian DJ Noreen Khan, who also talks about a motorway collision in which she was involved. Other topics covered in this issue include driving distractions, bad driving habits, Highway Code questions and car crime.

A bespoke version of the issue costs £500 which includes a personalised front page, inclusion of own branding, a personalised introduction and two new pages. Extra features and videos can be added and accompanying Facebook pages can also be set up and maintained for £30 a month, if required.

Road safety teams purchasing this online issue will also have the option to receive 500 printed copies of past editions of Rev.uk for the price of postage, while stocks last.
