Road Safety GB is delighted to announce that ALCOLOCK UK Ltd will be a new co-sponsor of the 2012 National Road Safety Conference & Exhibition, which will be held in London in November 2012.
The conference is being hosted by Road Safety GB London Region and will be held at the Britannia International Hotel, Canary Wharf, 14-15 November. More than 60 people have already registered to attend the event and, as has been the case for the past three years, final attendance is expected to top 200.
ALCOLOCK UK is a newly formed subsidiary of the Canadian company Alcohol Countermeasure Systems Corp (ACS), a global supplier of breath alcohol testing products, including alcohol interlocks. Originally designed for law enforcement, the ACS product range has expanded to serve the automotive, industrial, transportation and commercial fleet markets.
James Gibson, Road Safety GB press & PR officer, said: “This is excellent news and we are really looking forward to partnering with ALCOLOCK UK. We are sure that sponsoring our national conference will give them excellent exposure as they set about establishing their business here in the UK.
“Our new partners are in the business of deterring drink driving, an issue that remains one of the biggest challenges to road casualty reduction in the UK and throughout the world.”
Richard Thomas, manager of commercial affairs for ALCOLOCK UK, said: “ALCOLOCK UK is very honoured to have been given the opportunity to work with Road Safety GB and to help make an impact on reducing deaths and injuries from road traffic collisions.”
The full residential delegate rate for Road Safety GB members has been set at £295 plus VAT, which includes all conference sessions, overnight accommodation, the conference dinner and all other refreshments across the two-day event.
However, a handful of places are still available for Road Safety GB members at the heavily subsidised rate of just £175 plus VAT.
There is also availability at the exhibition which runs alongside the conference, and for organisations interested in sponsoring the event.
