Road Safety GB meets Chinese delegation

A delegation from the Highway Bureau in China met with representatives from Road Safety GB to find out more about road safety in the UK and Road Safety GB’s work.

Tim Philpot, vice chair of Road Safety GB, and James Gibson, press and PR officer, met the 23 Chinese delegates on 9 March.

The delegation will be in the UK for the most of March to gain insight into road issues in the British context, and to make contact with a range of organisations and individuals with expertise in their field.

The Highway Bureau is part of the Ministry of Transport in China. Road safety and emergency response issues will be a special focus of their visit.
