The road safety team at RoSPA is seeking volunteers to complete a survey as part of research to evaluate its Older Drivers website.
Produced and launched in 2016 with funding from the DfT, the Older Drivers website aims to help older drivers to stay safe on the road for longer.
The website gives tips on how people can update their driving skills and knowledge in order to maintain their freedom and independence, as well as advice for families or friends who are concerned about a loved one’s driving.
In 2018, a cost calculator was added – to help older drivers estimate the cost of running a car against using public transport – along with electronic noticeboard resources.
RoSPA says now is the time to review the use and content of the website and whether the current advice and information can be improved.
The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and is anonymous. A summary of the survey results will be published on the Road Safety Evaluation website.
