RSOs offered opportunity to customise DVSA magazines

Road safety teams are reminded that the deadline is approaching if they wish to order customised versions of the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) magazines that are handed out via theory and driving test centres.

The magazines, which reach each every new driver in the UK at theory test and driving test stage, can be personalised to carry local road safety content via a branded cover and four-page centrefold.

The theory and practical editions of FirstCar, which are produced in partnership between DVSA and FirstCar, are handed out with test results.

James Evans, publisher of FirstCar, said: “Because the production costs are covered by advertising revenue, we can customise the copies going out through local test centres very cost effectively – between 15p and 20p per copy.

“From the official reader feedback results from the 2013/14 Theory Edition, it’s encouraging to see so many copies being passed on to family and peers.”
