A Road Safety GB conference, which focuses on reducing collisions and casualties on rural roads, will now take place in February 2021.

The conference, organised by Road Safety GB in partnership with the DfT, was due to take place at the RAC Clubhouse in Pall Mall, Central London, on 2 July.

However, as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the decision has been made to postpone the event. It will now take place on Wednesday 10 February 2021.

The agenda is currently under development, with all eight confirmed speakers available for the new date.

Topics covered by confirmed speakers include cyclist and driver behaviour on rural roads, agricultural vehicles, equestrian safety, and risk assessment and practical engineering road improvement measures.

Delegate registrations is open, with the attractive early bird rate of just £130 plus VAT still available for Road Safety GB and Academy members.

For more information, or to express interest in presenting at the conference, contact Nick Rawlings via email or on 01379 650112.
