‘Spike’ faces up to life after road safety

Spike’ the hedgehog has recently retired from Warrington following years of dedicated service with the road safety team.

During his service ‘Spike’ has promoted child road safety at events across Warrington and has brought smiles and laughter to those who met and worked with him.

The road safety team has arranged for him to retire to Warrington’s Walton Hall and Gardens, where rangers and staff have promised to make him more than welcome and use him at events and occasions.
