The Road Safety Knowledge Centre (Knowledge Centre) project has passed through the stakeholder consultation process with a positive response from those who participated.

The Knowledge Centre, which is being developed by Road Safety GB with funding provided by the DfT, will replace Road Safety Time Bank. It will comprise a web-based library of road safety related information and expertise  available free of charge to anyone with a professional interest in road safety.

Of the 68 people who participated in the consultation process, 87% rated the ‘design/appearance’ as good/excellent, 78% gave the same ranking for ‘structure’, and 93% gave the same score for ‘potential usefulness’.

The Knowledge Centre is scheduled to launch in early August 2010.
