Top marks for National Conference

The National Road Safety Conference 2012 has received excellent feedback, with 91% of those who completed the post event survey rating the overall event as ‘excellent or good’.

254 people attended the event and 26 organisations participated in the accompanying exhibition, which was hosted by Road Safety GB London Region in London Docklands (14-15 November). Around half of all attendees completed the post event survey.

92% rated the overall conference content as excellent or good. Scores for the Question Time session were significantly up on 2011, with 93% rating it ‘excellent or good’, compared with 86% last year.

For visitors, the exhibition was also a big success, with 83% giving it top marks for usefulness.

The marks for organisation were also excellent with 96% rating it ‘good or excellent’, 95% giving the same rating for ‘communication’ and the ‘booking process’, 93% for ‘delegates handbook’ and 92% for the ‘event website’. The conference dinner was also extremely popular, with 96% rating it excellent or good.

The 2013 conference will be hosted by Road Safety GB Yorkshire & Humber Region in Harrogate, 13-14 November. The initial planning meeting will be held on 19 December and more details will be published on the event website in early 2013.
