#ridebetter\u00a0with \u2018Angry Al'<\/h3>\n

The #ridebetter campaign was developed by 2Wheels London<\/a>\u00a0in an effort to resonate with young riders in the Capital \u2013 and to positively influence their decisions.<\/p>\n

The campaign, launched in August 2019, features eight videos designed to encourage riders to use the roads in a manner that gives them the best chance of staying safe and avoid being involved in a collision.<\/p>\n

The films, developed in consultation with riders, feature the character \u2018Angry Al\u2019, who acts as the \u2018devil on your shoulder\u2019 encouraging bad behaviours. They are non-traditional and contain strong language.<\/p>\n

The films were shared on social media and cover areas that contribute towards collisions such as speed, observations, overtaking, junctions and road position.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Debbie Huckle is the team leader for safety and travel planning at the London Borough of Brent and has 18 years' experience of working in road safety.<\/p>\n

She is also honorary secretary of the London Road Safety Council and enjoys working with colleagues on projects to help reduce casualties in London.<\/p>\n

Debbie has a keen interest in motorcycle safety, especially as the renowned Ace Caf\u00e9 is located in Brent, and given her role as vice chair of the 2Wheels London Stakeholder Group.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
