St Helens Council have a quantity of ‘Suddenly From Nowhere’ resources available free of charge.

The resources are aimed at year 10 and above (key stage 4) with the emphasis on young drivers and their passengers, peer pressure and distractions.

Suddenly from Nowhere Road Safety is a PSHE/Citizenship curriculum resource, produced by road safety practitioners from the Merseyside Road Safety Partnership, for young drivers and riders and their passengers.

The aim is for them to consider the consequences of distractions leading up to, during and after a collision, caused by rider, driver and also passenger behaviour.

The resource includes lesson plans and teaching notes for the four lessons.

To order your free resources please contact Melanie Burrows at St Helens Council by email.
