Road safety champions The Conies are keeping children safe through a new learning platform
Creator and director Fay Goodman has built on the success of The Conies: Walking to School Safely Journal which has been used in the classroom at primary schools across the West Midlands, increasing the safety knowledge of more than 30,000 children.
Funded by the Rees Jeffreys Road Fund, the new platform at theconies.org contains Conies-themed interactive resources and learning activities on road safety, as well as videos of the family’s adventures.
Fay Goodman explains the concept of The Conies and why she believes they will become the successors to the likes of Tufty the Squirrel and the Green Cross Code Man as the new children’s champions of road safety.
