Training day is excellent example of partnership working

60 road safety practitioners were briefed as to the importance of Safety Audits for Highway Improvement Schemes, at a training day organised by Road Safety GB North West Region.

The training day, held on 16 October at World of Glass in St Helens, was organised by Road Safety GB in partnership with the North West Safety Engineers Group, and was delivered by Lance Fogg of Arena Associates.

Gillian Roberts, senior road safety officer with St Helens Council, said: “The aim of the day was to enhance to the professional development of Road Safety GB members and the North West Safety Engineers Group. It was an excellent example of joint working in the North West.”
