More details about the first national conference for road safety data analysts have been unveiled and the delegate registration process is now live.
The conference, which was announced earlier this month, is a result of a survey conducted earlier this year which captured the views, experiences and aspirations of more than 100 analysts from across the country.
Organised by Road Safety GB in partnership with Road Safety Analysis, and with support from the DfT, the event will take place at the Royal College of Surgeons, central London on 1 March 2016. The intention is for this to become an annual event.
The conference theme is ‘Joining the dots’ and sessions will cover: ‘How Data Informs Policy & Strategy’, ‘Tips, Tools & Techniques’, ‘How Data Drives Delivery’ and ‘Big Data & Breaking Bad’.
The venue has capacity for around 120 delegates and as such early booking is advised. The delegate fee is £125 +VAT with a 40% discount available to Road Safety GB, Academy and MASTonline members. Click here to register for the event.
There will also be a small exhibition running alongside the conference, with places allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. There are also various opportunities to become involved as a sponsor of the event.
