There are two Road Safety GB Award categories, as follows:

The Road Safety GB Achievement Award
This award recognises an individual who has contributed significantly to road safety in the United Kingdom over a substantial period of time.

The Road Safety GB Corporate Award
This award recognises the achievements of a Road Safety GB corporate member and acknowledges their commitment and contribution to road safety.

Nominations are being invited for the 2024 Road Safety GB Achievement Award.

The awards will be presented to the winners on 6 November during the National Road Safety Conference at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel.

Nominations for the Achievement Award must be made by a third party, and supported by two other individuals.

The deadline for nominations is Monday 23 September 2024. Full details of how to nominate are outlined in the Awards’ nomination form. The form should be downloaded for completion – and sent via email to june.howlett@buckinghamshire.gov.uk

The Road Safety GB awards were previously called the Lynda Chalker Awards (1985-2019) and were presented to an individual or organisation who contributed significantly to road safety in the United Kingdom.
