Road Safety GB is inviting nominations for the 2026 Achievement Award, recognising individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to improving road safety.

The award celebrates people whose dedication, leadership and commitment have delivered a lasting impact on road safety, whether at a local, regional or national level.

It is one of three presented during the Road Safety GB Awards, which recognise excellence across the following categories:

  • Achievement Award – recognising an individual who has made an exceptional contribution to road safety.
  • Corporate Award – recognising an organisation that has demonstrated excellence in road safety.
  • Community Award – recognising an individual or group who have contributed significantly to road safety within local communities in the UK.

Nominations are now open for the Achievement Award, with Road Safety GB encouraging colleagues from across the profession to recognise individuals whose work deserves national recognition.

Nominations are also open for the Community Award.

Full details of the eligibility criteria and nomination process are available on the Road Safety GB Awards webpage.

The Corporate Award will be decided by the Road Safety GB board of directors.

The winners of all three awards will be announced and presented during the 2026 National Road Safety Conference, taking place at The Queens Hotel, Leeds, on 24–25 November 2026.

Road Safety GB is encouraging members, partners and stakeholders to consider who has inspired them through their work and submit a nomination before the closing date on 7 September 2026.
