Young Driver Focus 2027 will take place on Wednesday 19 May at the Royal Automobile Club in London, with early bird tickets now available.
The annual event, organised by FirstCar in association with Road Safety GB and the RAC Foundation, brings together more than 175 road safety professionals to focus exclusively on the challenges and opportunities surrounding young driver safety.
Now established as a key event in the road safety calendar, Young Driver Focus provides an opportunity for practitioners, researchers, policymakers and industry representatives to share the latest research, data and practical interventions aimed at improving safety for young and newly qualified drivers.
The 2027 event, organised in association with GEM Motoring assist and supported by Westcotec, will once again provide a full day of presentations, discussion and networking, with delegates able to hear from a range of speakers working across the young driver road safety sector.
Early bird tickets now available
Organisers are encouraging delegates to book early, with an early bird discount available on tickets booked before 31 October 2026.
A discounted rate is also available to Road Safety GB members.
Places are expected to be popular, with previous Young Driver Focus events attracting more than 175 delegates from local authorities, police and fire services, driver training, academia, insurance, private business and campaign organisations.
Call for papers
Organisers are also inviting submissions from those with an intervention, campaign or research project that could be of interest to the Young Driver Focus audience.
The call is open to practitioners, researchers and organisations working to improve young driver safety.
Anyone interested in presenting at Young Driver Focus 2027 is asked to contact james@firstcar.co.uk by Friday 16 October 2026.
