With 375 people already registered to attend NRSC 2026, final numbers look very likely to exceed 400 for a third consecutive year.
The National Road Safety Conference (NRSC) is Road Safety GB’s flagship event, with the 2026 edition – the 16th – being held at The Queens Hotel, Leeds on 24-25 November 2026. Attendees comprise a mix of local authority road safety managers/officers, police and fire & rescue officers, academics and representatives from the third and private sectors.
The conference comprises a Main programme, the Fringe programme, supported by National Highways, and a series of Workshops. NRSC 2026 features a total of around 80 presentations and workshops.
In addition, 34 organisations have booked to participate in the sold-out exhibition that runs alongside the conference.

Nick Rawlings, a member of the conference organising committee said: “After three years when NRSC has been held towards the centre of the country, we wondered whether taking it further north in 2026 might have a negative impact on the number of attendees, but we’re delighted that has not proved to be the case.
“With more than 80 presentations and workshops across the two days, there is something for everyone at NRSC 2026, which is probably part of the reason for the excellent attendance again this year.
“We only have around 20 bedrooms still available, so anyone looking to book a residential place at NRSC 2026 is encouraged to book as soon as possible.”
