FirstCar is launching a new distribution service to help road safety teams get its publications into the right hands including driving instructors, car dealerships and CBT test centres.
FirstCar says that while many road safety professionals like to distribute its titles face-to-face, this “rarely gets copies into the hands of all the high-risk road user groups who need them the most”. To supplement these personal engagement opportunities, FirstCar has launched its distribution service in order to cast the net much wider.
James Evans, publisher of FirstCar magazine, said: “Schools, colleges and events are often the go-to routes for distribution of our titles.
“However, we know that driving instructors, CBT test centres, cycle shops, car dealerships, police and the probation service all engage the target readership and would willingly pass on our magazines.
“As of next week, road safety teams can order copies of their favourite education and engagement resources from us, with the added bonus of not having to handle a single box.”
There is no charge for the new distribution service, simply the cost of the copies. FirstCar encourages local authorities to provide guidance on target outlets and a letter or email to ensure they are credited with providing the magazines.
