FirstCar has announced that it is to launch a new road safety guide for older drivers.
James Evans, FirstCar publisher, said: “I’m pleased to say that following a really strong expression of interest in a guide for drivers aged 65+ years, we’re going to be launching Drive On magazine on 17 November, subject to securing sufficient pre-orders.
“Aimed at those approaching their licence renewal at 70 years, we’ve chosen the title Drive On to keep the vibe positive and upbeat.
“However, a section of the guide is devoted to the difficult decision that comes at the end of everyone’s driving career – hanging up your keys.”
“The copy will be larger and the page layouts simpler than that used in our other publications, and the final design will have a broad appeal for both sexes.”
