This year’s Joining the Dots conference – which takes place on 6 March – will extend beyond the day itself, with a variety of workshops and webinars organised for the next few months.
Now into its 9th year, the RSGB National Analysts Conference (Joining the Dots) returns with a hybrid event on 6 March 2024.
The in person conference takes place at Woburn House, London – with the support of headline sponsor, National Highways.
Delegate registration is still open, for both in-person and online tickets.
The focus will be on the most pressing topics facing the profession. Content will be centred around four core themes: data and policy, machine learning and new data, safety performance indicators, and examples of good practice.
Richard Holden MP, minister for roads and local transport, has been confirmed as the keynote speaker, while further presentations from National Highways and the Met Police.
New for this year, a series of JTD webinars will take place, for both attendees and non-attendees of the event itself.
The first workshop (27 Feb) will dissect local 2023 data, before the provisional release. Participants are invited to bring their own 2023 data to the table for a comprehensive analysis and comparison of regional trends and insights (click here to register).
Following this, the second workshop (12 Mar) will revisit the insightful discussions from a previous roundtable event, focusing on reviewing safety performance indicators and envisioning their future (click here to register).
Future webinars in the pipeline will discuss; evaluation, road safety factors and ethnicity and deprivation. Registration for these will be open shortly.
