Lilian Greenwood, minister for local transport, will officially open the 2026 RSGB National Analysts Conference, delivering a keynote address to attendees.

Now into its 11th year, Joining the Dots continues to provide support and guidance for the road safety profession, stakeholders and the wider community alike.

The 2026 conference returns to IET, Austin Court, Birmingham on 3 March.

Delegate registration remains open, with a discounted rate for Road Safety GB members.

Given the recent release of the road safety strategy, Joining the Dots provides an opportunity to hear directly from a leading voice in UK transport policy as the conference kicks off.

Lilian Greenwood has previously stated that road safety is central to the government’s commitment, as it contributes to several of its national missions: enabling economic growth and opportunities, supporting greener journeys through active travel, and reducing pressures on the NHS.

Following the minister’s keynote, attendees will hear further details from the DfT, and how this translates on-the-ground, with presentations from Transport for Greater Manchester and Transport for West Midlands.

A special panel session will be dedicated to discussing the new strategy and the implications for data professionals to help drive it into action. Hear from experts what the new road safety strategy means for analysts.

Further sessions throughout the day will include examples of enhanced data use and a session dedicated to local delivery.

These presentations are exclusive to the conference and will not be available online or in future webinars. Visit the website to see the full agenda.
