Black cars linked to fast drivers

Drivers of black cars are most likely to break speed limits, according to a poll by the insurer elephant.co.uk.

As many as 25% of black-vehicle owners have speeding convictions and are 9% more likely than the average driver to have speeding points on their licences, the survey found. Grey was the next ‘speediest’ colour, with silver, blue and brown following. Owners of purple cars were least likely to have been caught speeding.
