A13 campaign warns of additional enforcement

09.21 | 21 August 2009 |

The Essex Casualty Reduction Board and Essex Police are running a campaign to reduce the number of casualties on the busy A13 road in the south of the county.

The campaign is designed to raise public awareness of additional enforcement taking place on the A13 and includes petrol pump and bus back advertising.

Essex Police are using marked and unmarked vehicles and the force helicopter, and distinctive helicopter signs have been placed along the road to warn motorists of the possibility of detection from the air.

A designated email address has also been set up for the public to notify the police of incidents or concerns.
