The Road Safety GB Academy has launched its first online training course, designed to give practitioners knowledge and understanding of the principles of effective messaging.

The Designing Effective Messaging course will be held for the first time on Tuesday 23 June (9.30am-3pm).

Facilitated by Ian Edwards, the course will be delivered in a Zoom virtual classroom and is limited to 12 participants – with registration now open.

The course aims to help develop a road safety practitioner’s ability to design an effective road safety message. It covers a wide spectrum of topics around effective messaging and will enhance skills and confidence in design and delivery.

It is intended primarily for practitioners, who wish to gain knowledge and understanding of the principles of effective messaging and to develop their skills further, so they are able to confidently produce an effective road safety message.

The course fee is £127 for Road Safety GB and Academy members, and £195 for other attendees (both plus VAT).

Once successfully enrolled on the course, attendees will be sent details of the specific platform and how to login.
