With the agenda now finalised, there is just a handful of delegate places remaining available for the Young Driver Focus 2015 event.

Young Driver Focus is being organised by Road Safety GB and FirstCar and will be held at the RAC Club in Central London on 15 April, courtesy of the RAC Foundation. Almost 150 people have registered to attend the event.

The conference comprises four sessions, following introductory presentations by HRH Prince Michael of Kent GCVO, and Liz Box from the RAC Foundation.

The first session will focus on research and interventions and will include presentations by Dr Fiona Fylan and Emeritus Professor Stephen Stradling, Michael McDonnell from Road Safety Scotland, and Dan Campsell and Tanya Fosdick from Road Safety Analysis.

The second session will comprise two presentations on the subject of telematics – by Richard King, CEO of ingenie, and Ian Lancaster, CEO of Twentyci.

After lunch the focus will be on driver training, with three presentations by Ian Edwards, director of eDriving Solutions, Dr Shaun Helman from the TRL, and Mawuli Ladzekpo, managing director of Roadio.

The closing session will comprise a panel discussion featuring some of the day’s speakers alongside Sophie Morgan, ambassador for Drive IQ and Richard Dredge, editor of FirstCar.

The cost of attending is just £75 for Road Safety GB and Academy members and £125 for other attendees (both prices plus VAT).
